1. Personal Information We Collect
Oube ("the Company") may collect the following information through the Huddle app. • Account identifier: User identifier and email address provided during Apple or Google social login • Profile information: Nickname (auto-generated and editable), character cosmetic settings, device time zone and language • Workout & activity data: Step count, exercise duration, and workout type read from HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) • Verification photos: Workout verification photos uploaded by the user • Group & social data: Group memberships, verification posts, reactions, and cheers • Push token: Device push token used to deliver notifications The Company does not separately collect any additional personally identifiable information beyond the items above.
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
Collected information is used solely for the following purposes. • Account identifier & email: User authentication and account identification • Profile information: Displaying the user within groups and personalizing the app • Workout & activity data: Determining and recording daily goal completion (the streak "flame") • Verification photos: Displaying verification content in the group feed • Group & social data: Providing social features such as the group feed, reactions, and cheers • Push token: Sending reminders and activity notifications
3. Handling of Health and Activity Data
Huddle reads activity data such as step count and exercise duration through HealthKit (iOS) and Health Connect (Android). • This data is used only to determine daily goal completion and to display the user's own records. • The Company does not use health or activity data for advertising or marketing purposes, and does not sell it to third parties. • You can revoke health data access at any time in your device's Health settings.
4. Third-Party Disclosure
The Company may provide information to the following third parties to operate the service. • Supabase (database, storage, and authentication hosting): Stores account information, verification records, and uploaded photos • Expo (push notification delivery): Sends notifications via push tokens • Apple, Google (authentication): Handles social login Third parties process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. The Company does not provide personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.
5. Retention and Deletion
Collected personal information is stored on Supabase servers (US region) for the duration of service use. When a user requests account deletion within the app, all personal information — including account data and uploaded photos — is deleted without delay.
6. Your Rights
You may exercise the following rights. • Change nickname/character: Editable anytime within the app. • Delete photos: You can delete uploaded verification photos. • Notification settings: You can toggle each notification type on or off. • Account deletion: You can delete your account and all data directly from the profile screen in the app. • Revoke health data access: You can disable access in your device's Health settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will notify you of the changes through an in-app notice or this page.
